Having recently been picked out has having the most recognizable and coveted badge of all carmakers, it’s no surprise that Ferrari are wanting to push the boat out.  The Ferrari 458 Italia is being pitched as representing a ‘genuine evolution’ of Maranello’s mid-rear engined V8 sports cars, a feat of innovation, no doubt due in the main to the company’s racing expertise.  The focus for this design has been to achieve efficiency across the model and Ferrari have done well with levels of fuel consumption and CO2 emissions at 13.3 km/l and 307 g/km respectively in the combined cycle (ECE+EUDC).
